Let me tell you about one of our favorite projects – Saco River Tubing. These guys know how to deliver an unforgettable river tubing experience, and we were all in from the start because, honestly, who doesn’t enjoy a lazy float down a beautiful river on a hot summer day?


When they reached out to us at ResmarkWeb, they were already doing well locally, but they wanted to reach even more adventure seekers. So, we got to work crafting an SEO strategy that would not only boost their rankings but also highlight what makes their tubing experiences unique.

The Need

After diving into Saco River Tubing's current rankings, We quickly realized we were sitting on a potential SEO goldmine. Sure, they were already the go-to spot for locals looking to beat the summer heat in the local area, but their digital presence wasn't doing justice to their real-world reputation. 


What really caught our eye was how many valuable keywords and local search opportunities we were leaving on the table, despite their strong authority. Our mission was clear: build up their Geo-relevance & topical authority to drive more local leads their way. 

The Plan

After performing an SEO audit, We knew exactly where we needed to focus our efforts. Here's how we mapped out their SEO strategy:

  • Strong GBP Foundations and Signals: First things first - we had to nail the Google Business Profile game. It's amazing how many local businesses overlook this goldmine, but we've seen firsthand how a well-optimized GBP can be a game-changer. Especially for Saco River Tubing's Case where a majority of traffic are expected to be "Local" Leads
  • Keyword Optimization & Proper Search Intent: When it came to keywords, we didn't just want to target the obvious ones. We focused on prioritizing commercial and transactional keywords. This helped us filter keywords and identify website content that didn't align with what searchers were looking for. We then mapped out the content with keywords that best aligned with their existing website content.
  • On Page SEO: Their On Page SEO needed some serious love too. We completely revamped their website's On Page, the core foundations being Meta Content, Internal Linking Strategies and Content Silos. We've made sure every change aligned perfectly with what their potential customers were actually looking for. None of that keyword-stuffing nonsense.
  • Content Strategy: Since our main goal was dominating local search, we had to get laser-focused. Too many businesses try to cast a wide net with generic content, but that's not how you win the local SEO game. We developed a content plan that put local relevance front and center. We're talking super targeted, geo-specific articles that really spoke to their niche. But here's what made the difference: we didn't just throw local keywords around and call it a day. We implemented a specific content plan refined to improve their brand's topical authority.


The Results

By November 2024, Saco River Tubing achieved impressive SEO milestones, they've officially started their SEO campaign in May, 2024:

These numbers are based on a comparison over the same timeframe prior to partnering with us. While the results are impressive, it's important to note that Saco River Tubing already had a strong foundation of authority, which we were able to leverage to maximize their growth.
