Great Alaska Adventures offers wild experiences like this all based out of their famous riverfront lodge overlooking the Moose and Kenai rivers.
The Challenge
Their existing website,
greatalaska.com, was full of information but was very difficult for users to quickly find what they were looking for and book a trip. The design was also very out-of-date and, more importantly, not mobile friendly.
The Objective
We began working with Great Alaska months before the start of their season. One of our main goals was to categorize, resize, and optimize all the new imagery for the new site. We set out to completely redesign their website while both maintaining and improving search engine rankings. To top it off, we began work on creating a more modern logo based on an old Alaskan totem they had on property.
